Snufmumriko

SUNSEASKY is proud to welcome Snufmumriko to our roster. Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Ingmar Wennerberg is a producer who sculpts his sound from field recordings and old records, with the aim of creating sonic environments which both work as background music and reward active listening. We were completely ensconced by the dreamy, texturally rich environments and dub flavored landscapes on 2019’s Sekunder, eoner (Dronarivm), which quickly became a staple at label headquarters and near just about any stretch or body of water we could find. So much so we relocated the label from Illinois and the Midwest to Florida’s Emerald Coast. Fitting then that Havstrakt, which means “coastal area”, will be the twelfth release under the Snufmumriko moniker. The album will be released on 2xCD + digital formats and features a venerable lineup of remixes by Moss Covered Technology, Gallery Six, Mokhov, Purl, Innesti, Awakened Souls, Crystalline Reflections, Ships On Fire, and Warmth. Mastered by Loz Grover (Boc Scadet, Touched Music) and tied beautifully together with artwork by our resident designer shift.
