Proudentall
Proudentall, a rock band formed in 1996, committed to making good music and having fun doing it.
Second guitarist Clay Zimmerman (later replaced by Sean Bergman) left the band after graduating from Cooper Union in New York City to pursue life as an adult. Billy Ning, John Cruz, and Matt Dunehoo live somewhere between Lawrence, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri these days, driving to practice once a week, and playing RBI baseball.
Influences are seemingly redundant to cite this day and age, but as a reference point, the band learned much being raised in an environment which fostered the growth and development of bands such as Boys Life, Giants Chair, and Vitreous Humor.
All good music is emotional, from Archie Schepp to 70’s Genesis to Jawbox, the bands that make a lasting impact are those that give it a shot.
Time’s been split since senior year high school balancing treks between Lawrence and Kansas City (academic conflicts,) playing out about once a month, shooting to practice once a week, and always contemplating what else is possible.
