Lights Out Asia
Lights Out Asia was formed in early 2003 when Chris Schafer and Mike Ystad (both members of Aurore Rien) decided to work on music together. Recording in bedrooms and basements, the duo had written and constructed a dozen songs on Mike’s laptop by summertime. Lights Out Asia’s debut full-length “Garmonia” soon took shape and was later released on Sun Sea Sky Productions, to much critical acclaim.
Enlisting the services of longtime friend and musical confidant Mike Rush on bass guitar, Lights Out Asia began to develop and hone their live performance. The band was later signed to electronic label n5md and released their sophomore effort “Tanks and Recognizers” on the imprint.
